No day race will start earlier than 2 p.m. ET during the 2018 Monster Energy Cup Series season.

However, no east coast day races will start any later than 2:30 p.m. ET either.

Along with the start times, NASCAR has also released the broadcast schedule. There will be ten races on the main FOX network and six races on Fox Sports 1. Once NBC takes over, they will put seven races on the main network and 13 race son NBCSN.

“Feedback from our fans, along with insight from teams, tracks and our broadcast partners was key to identifying the most ideal start time for each race,” said Steve Herbst, senior vice president, broadcasting and production at NASCAR. “Every race weekend is unique, so considering fan and industry input alongside each event’s nuances allows us to balance interests on all sides.”
